Job Purpose :

API Solution Architect works to ensure that the API Solutions are properly designed, able to develop and aligned with the IT architecture blueprint provided by EA. He/She needs to represent as API team technical SME and to be able to consult on the usage of API and the API solutions to the other systems and channels with include the design of non-functional in the consideration always. Also, he/she need to work closely with the delivery team (BA, Engineer and QA) to be able to consult the technical solution or the best practices to the team as well as he/she need to work closely with EA team to ensure that the solution designed are aligned to the bank architecture, infrastructure, network and security.

Job Description :

• Technical Literacy – Solution architects possess a high level of technical literacy, that includes Architectural thinking, complete systems thinking, systems integration and detail design. Very well versed with UML diagram and architectural work products
• Analytical Assessment – This role requires a high level of analysis since solution architects need to examine a client’s current systems and determine overall project needs and scope
• Schedule Management – Need extensive time management skills to determine development schedules and milestones and ensure that deliverables are completed on time
• Team Leadership – Capability of Technical governance to oversee and direct development throughout the project development lifecycle, experience with team leadership and motivation is essential
• Communication – Expert in communicating with team members, clients and other vendors, so they exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-Solving – Need to be excellent problem-solvers, able to quickly change direction based on updated client specifications or system limitations
• HandsOn development ability – We are looking for the person with hands on experience in microservice architecture, should be able to develop and deploy microservice in both on-prem and on-cloud environment. Fast paced development capability is required to quickly develop and deploy.
• Expert in Spring MVC and SpringCloud and iStio service mesh
• Interface to DevOps – Knowledge of DevOps toolchain and able to integrate his developed application with DevOps toolchain
• Full Application Life Cycle experience – Full exposure and hands-on experience in architecture, detail design, development, testing, deployment,
• Able to define the flow of data between the applications that must be integrated and map business process activities to the applications that support them.
• Provide guidance and assistance to Business, Development, Automated test, SIT, and UAT teams in regard to integration functionality & technology.
• Collaborate the activities of development, quality assurance, and support teams and ensure adherence to standards and continuous improvement.
• Identify the impact to business and IT architecture from testing point of view and able to propose the proper solution.
• Able to provide consultation in the innovation initiatives related to API development.
• Promote, develop, maintain, and support API based on our Krungsri API standards and ensure that all exposed APIs within the bank are up to the defined standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 10+ years of working experience of solid, demonstrable experience in the software development area
• 5-7 years of working experience of solid, demonstrable experience in architecture design in large-scale projects
• 3-5 year of working experience in banking and/or fintech industry
• Banking business knowledge is highly advantage
• Knowledge of API development and microservices architecture is preferred.
• Knowledge of IT governance, IT Development and operations methods (e.g. SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps)
• Knowledge cloud platform AWS or OpenShift
• Knowledge of DevSecOps/DevOps
• Knowledge of multiple design patterns and architectures
