Sales Consultant

In general, you are an expert in the field of facilitating for selling technology products, solutions and services of our principals and at the same time you are an expert in the field of sourcing the right technology solutions for our customers.
- Learning the Product
- When you begin working with a specific principal, however, you must first learn all the ins and outs of the technology products, solutions or services you'll be facilitating for selling, including the terms of sales, warranty policies, benefits and features and how the solutions work. As a sales consultant, you have a responsibility to two parties. First, you have an obligation to accurately represent the principal and its technology products and speak on behalf of the principal. Second, you are obligated to customers and need to give them all of the relevant information they need to make a decision to buy.
- Generating Leads
- Some principals will provide us with leads, but normally this responsibility falls to the sales consultant. This means that you need to use whatever resources are available to compile a database of people or organizations that might potentially be interested in our principals' technology products, solutions and services. These can be variety of prospecting tools ranging from phone books, previous sales records to the purchased databases assembled by professional and trade associations. To be a successful sales consultant you are required to take advantage of every avenue to generate business and reach potential customers.
- Sales Appointments
- The sales consultant uses the leads to make appointments with customers. It's up to you to arrange a time and place to meet, usually accommodating the needs of our customers. Appointments are normally take place at our customer's office.
- During an appointment in absent of our principal, on the one hand, it's your job as a consultant to preliminary demonstrate our principal's technology products or solutions and provide any preliminary information that the customer asks for regarding the products. This appointment is aimed to collect enough requirements and information for our principal to make the right and accurate proposal satisfying our customers' need.
- When come to an appointment with the presence of our principal, on the other hand, you have to facilitate the sales of our principal directly to our customer.
- Follow Up
- The effective sales consultant's obligation to customer satisfaction continues after the appointment or proposal or sales is made. Many sales consultants explicitly make themselves available for any further questions a customer might have regarding the product or proposal. For example, if our customer is having a hard time commissioning the technology products, you should be available to them to facilitate troubleshooting with our related principals. Any complaints should be handled by us or for you to promptly forward to the related principals, after which you will follow up to ensure the customers are satisfied. You most likely will want to maintain continued contact with satisfied customers to build and maintain relationships because the best customers are those who have used our services in the past.
- The sales consultants will have the opportunity to work closely with the company's experienced executives and ours principals. A purpose of the job is to help our customers understand, compare and contrast the products or solutions that are available for buying (the pre-sales role); to troubleshoot problems with their implementations—that is, to help ensure that the products or solutions work successfully once the buying decision has been made (the post-sales role); and to maximize sales by providing such help to the customers.
- The successful candidates will be provided with full responsibilities and the opportunities to make a valuable contribution. And will be offered an attractive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Preferred candidates will have/be:
- A few years of experience in sales is advantageous but not essential. Preferably those who have technical understanding together with sales skills.
- A newly graduated with bachelor's degree preferably in business administration or engineering.
- Energetic, self-organized and self-motivated with strong leadership abilities.
- Hardworking, honest, possessing an open and communicative management style, good follow-up abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Sufficiently mature to be committed to teamwork and transparency and to credibly represent the organization in the business community.
- Fluent in both speaking and writing Thai and English.
