Head of Field Force (PC Manager)

Key Responsibilities


1. Third-Party Management

  • Manage and oversee the performance of the third-party agency responsible for the field force team.
  • Ensure recruitment quality, manpower readiness, and compliance with agreed service standards while managing expenses within the approved budget.


2. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and other relevant functions to ensure alignment and effective execution of activation campaigns, product launches, and key business initiatives.


3. Field Force Management & Development

  • Lead, develop, and manage the national field force team to achieve sales and execution objectives.
  • Ensure excellent execution at the point of sale, maintain compliance with company standards and policies, and continuously build team capability and performance.


4. Performance Monitoring & Customer Management

  • Monitor and evaluate KPIs, execution quality, and business results to ensure target achievement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners to support business growth.


5. Execution Planning & Implementation

  • Translate business and marketing strategies into clear execution plans and ensure timely, consistent, and effective implementation in the market.


6. Field Coaching & Team Engagement

  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution quality, provide on-the-job coaching, and motivate the team to deliver high performance.
  • Foster team engagement and promote a performance-driven culture across the field force organization.


7. Coverage & Deployment Management

  • Ensure optimal manpower deployment and outlet coverage to maximize product visibility, consumer engagement, and execution effectiveness across assigned territories.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in PC/Field Force Management, Field Sales Execution, Merchandising, or related functions, with proven experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Trade and/or General Trade channels within the FMCG industry.
  • Good communication, presentation, people management, and leadership skills.
  • Customer-oriented and results-driven, with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable plans.
  • Experience in managing third-party agencies or outsourced field force teams is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and conduct regular field visits nationwide.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
