Responsibilities:

-Lead design with strong mastery of your craft:
-Bring UX Thought Leadership and build key partnerships with Product, Business and Engineering stakeholders. Have the entrepreneurial spirit to rally people and orchestrate efforts towards a common goal.
-Navigate amorphous corporate environments across multiple lines of accountabilities. Not afraid to push back on decisions and make difficult trade-offs when faced with conflicting or divergent objectives.
-Hands-on; from service design to product and interaction design, going from abstract journeys and information architecture diagrams, to pixel perfect production-ready assets using Scrum/Agile management processes.
-Help team incorporate UX industry best practices to create delightful, engaging interaction models & patterns. Ensure design benchmarks/requirements are met across all products.
-Executive maturity in stakeholder management & design advocacy:
-Talk confidently and clearly about design to various levels in the organisation, and build strong, supportive relationships with our stakeholders.
-Help our business and stakeholders appreciate and understand how to tap on and leverage the specialist expertise of UED function and capabilities.

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications(must have):

-A portfolio with projects showcasing:
-(1) well-crafted interaction & usability solutions that balance and resolve competing Product, User, and Tech requirements.
-(2) understanding and use of Figma-based Design Systems.
-Familiarity using & contributing to Component & Style Libraries in a scaled and distributed design team. Figma preferred.
-Figma-specific skills*
-*You'll be expected to go through a live whiteboarding test to showcase these skills.
-(1) Demonstrate ability to construct high-quality, production-ready screens using best practices in auto-layout & constraints to control spacing and resizing behaviour.
-(2) Have actual experience in using and applying Master Component properties and Variant properties for scalable and configurable components.
-(3) Building interactive prototypes using native functionalities & plugins

-At least 3 years of professional experience as a design practitioner, exemplifying various disciplines such as facilitation, research, UX, visual design or service design
-Proven track record of shipping good design experience. Working in fintech or financial industry preferred but not withstanding
-Strong demonstration of empathy, problem-solving, design humility and entrepreneurial mindset
-Strong desire to change and challenge status quo, ask the right questions and make things happen
-Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
-A related Design Degree will be an advantage
