Role Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY*

Define key responsibilities to reflect the duties and responsibilities of this role.

  • Develop brand and marketing initiatives to reflect the Bank's thought leadership
  • Responsible for managing external events and key internal corporate events such as Town Hall
  • Accountable for overseeing corporate branding plus managing advertising and media agencies
  • Manage and consult about sponsorship and donations to comply with the Group's sponsorship and donations standards
  • Be the Employee Volunteering (EV) champion to drive the bank-wide EV participation
  • Responsible for managing vendors engagement for the entire CABM team

RESPONSIBILITIES*

Strategy*

  • Ensure that the defined CABM strategy to support Thailand businesses are met

Brand:

  • Manage corporate branding to align with group's direction.
  • Be the brand champion in the country – ensure all campaigns have a business focus vis-à-vis full year strategy priorities
  • Proactively manage advertising and media agencies
  • Ensure marketing is executed within the brand specifications (brand positioning, brand architecture) to reinforce the overall bank positioning through consistency in tone & manner, look & feel.
  • Contribute expertise in brand architecture and guidelines to develop the local annual report design and artwork through managing the external design vendor and printer.

Marketing:

  • Develop an understanding of the market opportunities and bring marketing expertise and creativity both at strategic and tactical level to ensure business objectives are supported and delivered aligned with global Brand & Marketing strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Proactively work with CCIB, FM and TB to provide strategic marketing support aligned to business needs
  • Develop and execute holistic and marketing programmes that can be measured and tracked with focus on ROI and feedback
  • Deliver quality marketing activities (communications / events) to drive exceptional client experiences – on plan, on budget and on time.
  • Manage corporate events i.e. client events and provide support to CEO Office on corporate internal events such as Group management team visit, employee townhall etc.
  • Ensure effective vendor management including partnership agreements and monitoring.
  • Develop quality merchandising items to be used for both internal and external activities and effectively keep track of the inventory
  • Improve the non-retail website performance and handle ongoing content management of the website

.Sponsorship and Donations:

  • Manage sponsorship events in the country, working closely with regional / group sponsorship team to ensure proper external awareness.
  • Be responsible for handling LFC sponsorship in-country activities and leverage the sponsorship opportunities as relevant with local stakeholders
  • Handle sponsorship and donation requests and give advice to requestors on the S&D procedures and guidelines, ensuring the requests adhered to the policy.

Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to the Risk Management Framework, Group Code of Conduct and various Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Bank by the Brand & Marketing team
  • Accountable for the Brand & Marketing budgets and scorecards
  • Act as the Responsible Person in operational risk tests in M-7 system


Employee Volunteering:

  • Lead and create the Employee Volunteering initiatives to ensure that the country's EV target is achieved

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
