Job description:

• Manage a team of business analysts, architects, designers and software developers to deliver projects and change requests for local applications
• Ensure that the local development team follow SDM through the whole SDLC
• Ensure that the local development team performs technical expertise and assistance in designing, testing and developing applications.
• Ensure UAT plan was well-prepared and executed efficiently.
• Manage multi-vendor teams or counterpart when required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain efficiency, consistency and achieve successful implementation of application
• Prepare and present status reports, implementation task lists, roll-back plan for the system deployment
• Ensure the project is delivered within scope, budget and on schedule
• Assist in production support to ensure no business interruption due to system application issues
• Ensures essential process / procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards.
• Promote effective knowledge management best practices within team and organization
• Manage and maximize resource within the budget to meet business priority
• People Management, Coach and mentor team members
• Risk assessment and risk management
• Lead problem solving and collaboration
• Lead creativity, risk-taking, and continuous improvements in workflow

Job requirement:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics or Computer Engineering
• At least 5-7 years’ experience in system development areas
• Communication skill: communicate technical and complex information both orally and in writing.
• Strong knowledge in the programming language used to develop the application, whether it's a database or a business program incorporated into a corporate system ie. SQL, Java, etc.
• Good functional knowledge in one or more banking domain ie. Cash Management, ATM, Credit Card, Retail Banking (deposit, loan, etc.), Wholesale Banking (trade finance), Financial Account
• Good command of English
