In this role, you will develop and implement innovative people strategies, programmes, and practices, to enhance employees’ experiences, supporting the brand’s growth and market excellence. Your responsibilities include building a high-performing, diverse and inclusive workforce, driving change initiatives, and representing the brand’s values externally. Reporting to Managing Director, Thailand, you will be part of the Thailand Leadership Team and Southeast Asia and Australia and New Zealand (“SEAA”) People and Organisation Leadership Team.
Develop and implement P&O strategy for Thailand, covering talent acquisition, development, retention, performance management, rewards, and recognition. Align with global and regional objectives to support the business and brand needs.- Drive accountability on key people practices and initiatives, including organisation health design, discipline and operating model.
- Build and nurture a high-performing and diverse workforce (including retail), foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and accountability.
- Drive change management initiatives and instil best practices to create a positive, innovative work environment. Champion the brand’s culture, vision, and values.
- Partner up with the Managing Director of Chanel Thailand and key stakeholders to influence strategic P&O decisions and transformation that connects with business strategies, and to continue to develop and grow future talents.
- Shape a data-oriented culture, leveraging technology and insights to improve P&O effectiveness and enable strategic people decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, regional, and global policies protecting our people, business, and brand.
- Connect with the P&O community in the region, on regional priorities, projects and cross-sharing of best practices.
- Leading, empowering, building and developing a team of passionate and talented P&O professionals, thriving in a complex and diverse environment.
- Partnering with the business and functional leaders to co-create and execute the people strategy that supports the brand's growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align and mobilise them towards common goals.
- Creating positive and long-lasting impact for the brand, employees, and the community through P&O initiatives and practices.
- Designing and implementing P&O initiatives and practices that enhance the brand's performance, reputation, and sustainability.
- Contributing to social and environmental causes that matter to the brand, employees, and the community.
- A transformational and inspirational leader, who can articulate and communicate the P&O strategy clearly and empowers the team, recognising their achievements.
- Proven track record of translating commercial goals into people strategies; ability to drive a talent workforce that is future-fit; partner with the Managing Director of Chanel Thailand, to animate and build an effective Leadership Team
- Leading and delivering P&O strategy in large and complex organisations, driving excellence and innovation.
- Ability to maintain strong employee engagement
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical skills, aligning P&O objectives with business goals and using data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and inspire stakeholders.
