[Bangchak] Compliance Officer / Senior Compliance Officer

· Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, controls, and compliance management frameworks.
· Advise business units and management on regulatory compliance matters, emerging legal requirements, and compliance risks.
· Lead and support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) compliance programs and privacy governance initiatives.
· Manage sanctions compliance processes, including sanctions screening, risk assessments, due diligence reviews, and the escalation of potential sanctions-related issues.
· Provide guidance on sanctions and trade compliance requirements and support the implementation of related compliance controls.
· Conduct compliance reviews, investigations, and risk assessments, and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
· Monitor compliance risks and recommend practical solutions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
· Deliver compliance training and awareness programs across the organization to promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance.
· Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and regulatory developments, assess their potential business impact, and recommend appropriate actions.
· Support the development and enhancement of the Company's compliance program.
· Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and updates for senior management.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external advisors on compliance and regulatory matters.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Law; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management, regulatory affairs, or related functions.
· Solid experience in Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) compliance and privacy management.
· Practical experience in sanctions compliance, including familiarity with OFAC, UK, EU, and UN sanctions regimes and compliance programs.
· Strong knowledge of sanctions and trade compliance requirements.
· Experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks, policies, and controls.
· Experience in conducting compliance investigations, monitoring activities, and risk assessments.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
· High ethical standards, integrity, and sound professional judgment.
· Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
· Experience in the energy sector or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
