The WILD Community Manager

Importantly, a Wildcat wishes to explore the socially conscious and impactful side of business.

Wildcats has been inspiring big change to people and organisations across several Southeast Asian countries since the middle of 2020. We developed an Open Innovation platform to find paradigm-changing solutions for real challenges in each of our markets, and have brought out the potential in the thousands of challenge participants thus far to “dream big, start small, act now”.

To support the growth of our innovation-driven communities of entrepreneurs, facilitators, and mentors across the globe, Wildcats is looking for a Community Manager who can mobilise people into action, build connections across universities, societies, and social networks.

The Community Manager’s Responsibilities are:

●      Support the Global Director of Marketing to reach out and establish communities with undiscovered and prospective innovators across the globe

●      Strategise and execute the growth of both university clubs, club members, and activities with the Community team

●      Recruit and manage a team of Community Interns across key markets to assist in executing strategies

●      Create regular, engaging content to entice community members to stay active and contributive

●      Create and manage a network of influencers and KOLs supportive of Wildcats’ community initiatives

●      Advise community members of available and upcoming opportunities to entrepreneurship, challenges, or other ventures

●      Moderate community discussions according to defined guidelines and best practices for uplifting, positive community development

●      Structure and organise social media and digital marketing initiatives with the Marketing team to drum up wide interest in our communities

●      Assist other Wildcats in any community-focused initiatives and events, both onsite and online

 

Traits of a WILD Community Manager

●      Diploma, Bachelors or Masters Degree

●      Experience in community building, running university engagements and clubs, online communities and events management

●      Seeking opportunities to bring huge social and business impact via open innovation, idea development, venture building, community building

●      Very self-motivated, highly energetic and driven, a people-person, and wants to contribute positively to society

●      Embody the Wildcats values of Bold, Grit, Play, and Imagine

 

Structure of the Wildcats Team

The Wildcats team is global; we sit across multiple time zones and geographical locations. Joining us means that you will be part of a global team of talented and driven people, and you will get opportunities to directly impact both your local market, and other focus markets in some capacity.

You will be working out of our Virtual Office on gather.town and connect “face-to-face” with your other Wildcats colleagues across time and locations, and even take part in planned and spontaneous games and activities that makes working in Wildcats a memorable and rewarding experience.
