Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to Starbucks success by working with the marketing team to implement integrated initiatives for Merchandise to it fullest potential. Key responsibilities include identify, research and execute business opportunities consistent with category strategic plans to meet local market business goals. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Executes category strategies, activities and project plans to ensure the success of the company to achieve business results and to meet business objectives.
- Collates performance data to identify opportunities and challenges to build sales & profitability. Identifies & review sales, return on investment and profit and loss.
- Prepares communications to internal and external customers, vendors on analysis and action plans.
- Tracks category performance according to agreed KPIs and use to identify opportunities and challenges to support the new product development.
- Collaborates with cross functional team towards achieving category goals & KPIs to ensure integration and support for program and initiatives.
- Set up the new products into our stock and sales system: New product list, Price, Recipe, etc.
- Follow up the vendors and cross functional team on the new product development
Summary of Experience
- Experience in product portfolio management and planning 3-5 years
- Experience in working with the international brand would be preferred
- Experience in serve ware and lifestyle product development would be preferred.
- Experience in data analysis are advantage
Education
- Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications or related fields
Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
- Good spoken and written command of English
- Efficiently work with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Has working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, assortment planning and inventory management.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with others.
