The Cloud FinOps Administrator is responsible for managing cost efficiency and financial operations. This role involves collaborating with finance and engineering teams to ensure effective cloud cost management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Financial Operations: Handle invoices, expense reports, payments, receivables, and credit/collections.

• Reporting: Generate and maintain detailed reports on cloud usage and costs, providing insights to subsidiaries.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting cloud expenses, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

• Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce cloud cost management policies and best practices.

• Workflow Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial workflows.

• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records and files in document management systems and databases.

• Collaboration: Work closely with finance, engineering, and operations teams to align cloud spending with business objectives.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in cloud cost management, financial operations, or a related role.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Azure experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with FinOps principles and practices.
