About the Role

We are looking for a System Security Officer to help protect the company's systems and data on a day-to-day basis. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to build hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, and security automation. You will work closely with senior team members and other departments, so this is a good opportunity to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain the company's data protection system to prevent sensitive information from leaking outside the organization

Monitor and maintain the endpoint protection system that keeps company laptops and computers safe from malware and other threats

Monitor and manage email security to protect the company from phishing, spam, and other email-based threats

Act as the main point of contact when the group-level Security Operations Center (SOC) team reaches out with alerts or requests

Work together with relevant teams to investigate and respond to security incidents, and help resolve them quickly and properly

Help build and improve automation tools, including AI-based tools, to make security monitoring and response work faster and more efficient

Keep records and reports of incidents, alerts, and daily security operations tasks

Follow up on open issues and escalate to senior team members when needed

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

0-3 years of experience in a security-related role (e.g. SOC, security operations, security monitoring, or a security internship)

Fresh graduates with a strong academic or project background in cybersecurity (e.g. relevant coursework, certifications, CTF experience, or internship in security) may also be considered

Basic understanding of how networks, email systems, and computer systems work

Interested in cybersecurity and willing to learn new tools and technologies

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Able to communicate clearly, both in writing and speaking, in Thai and English

Able to work well with different teams and stay calm when handling incidents

Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g. Python) is a plus, but not required
