About the role

The Senior Compensation & Benefits Officer is responsible for managing the Company's end-to-end Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and Payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration, employee benefits management, statutory compliance, data integrity, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role will serve as the key operational owner for payroll and C&B activities and will also be responsible for developing, improving, and standardizing C&B processes, workflows, controls, and reporting to support the Company's continued growth.

Key responsibilities

Manage the complete payroll cycle from data preparation through payment and post-payroll reconciliation, including preparation and maintenance of monthly payroll master data and payroll inputs

  • Collect and verify payroll-related information including new hires, resignations, terminations, salary adjustments, promotions, transfers, attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, incentives, commissions, bonuses, and deductions
  • Review employee attendance and payroll-related records prior to payroll processing
  • Calculate and coordinate monthly payroll processing and verify gross pay, deductions, tax, social security, provident fund, and net pay
  • Prepare payroll variance analysis and identify unusual or incorrect transactions
  • Conduct payroll reconciliation before submitting for review and approval
  • Prepare payroll payment files and coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement
  • Handle retroactive payroll adjustments, back pay, final payment, and payroll corrections
  • Maintain employee salary and compensation records and manage salary changes arising from promotion, salary adjustment, internal transfer, probation confirmation, market adjustment, and organizational restructuring
  • Support annual and mid-year salary review processes and prepare salary adjustment simulations and compensation reports

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits and Payroll
  • Hands-on experience managing payroll processes
  • Experience handling payroll for a medium or large workforce is preferred
  • Good understanding of compensation, employee benefits, payroll, taxation, and statutory contributions
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including payroll calculations, reconciliation, PivotTables, and data analysis
  • Experience with HRIS or Payroll Systems is preferred
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to handle confidential employee and compensation information appropriately
