About the RoleAre you a technology-driven professional who enjoys working with school systems, data, websites, and digital platforms? We are looking for an IT Manager who can support the school's technology infrastructure while working closely with staff, teachers, students, and parents.

This role covers IT systems, school website and digital platforms, user accounts, email systems, student data, grades, and day-to-day technical support across the school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. IT Systems & Infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain the school's IT systems, servers, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, security, backups, updates, and overall reliability.
  • Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, network switches, firewall, Active Directory, file-sharing systems, and other network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  • Manage and maintain printers, projectors, Smart TVs, IP phones, UPS, CCTV, and other IT equipment.
  • Plan and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime.
  • Website & Digital Platforms
  • Manage and maintain the school website and ensure that it is functioning properly and securely.
  • Coordinate website updates, technical changes, troubleshooting, and content-related requirements.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external website providers to resolve website issues and improve website performance.
  • Monitor website access, basic website data, security, and system performance.
  • Support and maintain digital platforms used by the school for communication, administration, and education.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the school's website and digital services.
  • School Data & Academic Systems
  • Manage and support school data systems and platforms used for student and academic information.
  • Support systems related to student records, grades, attendance, academic information, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Academic and other relevant departments regarding system access, data entry, grade-related issues, and technical problems.
  • Ensure school data is accurate, secure, confidential, and accessible to authorized users.
  • Assist management and departments with data-related requirements and basic reporting when required.
  • Email & User Account Management
  • Manage official email accounts for employees, teachers, students, and parents.
  • Create, update, deactivate, and troubleshoot user accounts and email access.
  • Manage passwords, permissions, and access to school systems.
  • Resolve issues related to email delivery, account access, storage, and user permissions.
  • Ensure users have appropriate access based on their

roles and responsibilities.

  • IT Support
  • Provide daily IT support to management, teachers, staff, students, and parents.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Provide clear technical guidance and explain solutions to non-technical users.
  • Support technology requirements for meetings, presentations, school activities, and events.
  • Provide on-site technical support during important school events when required.
  • IT Security & Data Protection
  • Monitor and maintain network security, firewall rules, user access, and system permissions.
  • Protect school systems and data from unauthorized access.
  • Maintain appropriate backup and recovery procedures.
  • Monitor potential security risks and take appropriate action when issues are identified.
  • Ensure confidential information, particularly student and employee data, is handled appropriately.
  • Vendor & Project Coordination
  • Coordinate with external IT, website, software, network, and technology service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure technical issues are followed up and resolved.
  • Assist in evaluating new IT systems, software, hardware, and digital solutions.
  • Support IT-related projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
  • Maintain records of IT equipment, systems, licenses, and related documentation.
  • IT Management & Reporting
  • Plan and prioritize IT tasks according to the school's operational needs.
  • Maintain proper documentation of IT systems, equipment, user accounts, and technical issues.
  • Prepare IT reports and provide updates to management when required.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance IT efficiency, system reliability, and user experience.
  • Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLEducation / Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional IT certifications will be an advantage.


Professional Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in IT.
  • Strong hands-on experience in IT systems, infrastructure, network administration, and technical support.
  • Proven experience in website administration and management, including website maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and coordination with external website providers.
  • Experience managing organizational data, user accounts, email systems, and digital platforms.
  • Experience with student information systems, academic systems, grades, attendance, or educational technology will be highly preferred.
  • Experience working in an international school, educational institution, or multicultural environment will be an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, servers, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience in website management and digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory, LAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, and network security.
  • Able to manage and troubleshoot school email systems and user accounts.
  • Able to work with student data, academic records, grades, and other confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Good command of English, with the ability to communicate confidently with foreign teachers, staff, students, parents, management, and external IT providers.
  • Able to discuss IT matters, website issues, student data, academic systems, grades, and email accounts in English.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies.


PERFORMANCE

  • Maintain reliable and stable IT systems with minimal downtime.
  • Ensure the school website and digital platforms are functional, secure, and properly maintained.
  • Ensure student, academic, and organizational data is accurate, secure, and properly managed.
  • Provide timely and effective IT support to users.
  • Maintain reliable email and user account services for staff, teachers, students, and parents.
  • Ensure IT security, backup, and access control procedures are properly maintained.
  • Resolve technical issues efficiently and minimize disruption to school operations.
  • Maintain effective coordination with external IT and technology providers.
  • Identify and implement technology improvements that support school operations and user experience.
