Line of Service: Internal Firm Services
A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. Our Information Technology Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.

Essential day-to-day responsibilities:

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop new programs and revise existing programs to support business requirements.

• Integrate data from various systems and databases.

• Lead, oversee and coach programmers and testers.

• Coordinate with stakeholders for program and application enhancement or customization.

• Provide application support to end users and train users to use programs and applications.

Requirements:

Preferred skills

• Strong experience in both Object and non-Object Oriented Analysis.

• Proven extensive involvement throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Team management experience.

• Experience in J2SE, XUL, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP and mobile applications programming is an advantage.

Technical skills

• Excellent programming logic skills, and software algorithm design, development and testing skills.
• Good understanding of .Net, JAVA, J2EE application development, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, XML, Bootstrap and MSSQL.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Soft skills

• Stakeholder management skills.
