Production Planning SpecialistJob SummaryThe Production Planning Specialist is responsible for developing and executing production plans to ensure on-time customer delivery, efficient utilization of production capacity, and optimal inventory levels. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to align customer demand with production capability and support overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop short-term, medium-term, and long-term production plans based on customer forecasts, customer orders, and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to align production schedules with customer requirements.
  • Monitor production capacity, manpower utilization, machine loading, and production constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust production plans based on demand fluctuations, engineering changes, machine breakdowns, or urgent customer requirements.
  • Follow up with production teams to ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
  • Analyze production planning data and identify risks or gaps affecting delivery performance.
  • Prepare production planning reports, capacity analysis, delivery performance reports, and other management reports.
  • Support continuous improvement projects related to production planning, scheduling, capacity utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve production planning issues and minimize production disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate production planning data in the ERP system.
  • Ensure production planning activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Production Scheduling, and Inventory Management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Good command of English. Chinese is an advantage.

Material Planning SpecialistJob SummaryThe Material Planning Specialist is responsible for planning and monitoring material requirements to ensure timely material availability for production while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing supply chain risks. This role works closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production Planning, Logistics, and suppliers to support uninterrupted production and on-time customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop material plans based on production schedules, customer demand, and inventory targets.

Requirements

Planning (MRP) and ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

  • Monitor raw material and component inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Identify material shortages, potential supply risks, and production constraints.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to follow up on material orders, delivery schedules, and material shortages.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and escalate potential supply risks.
  • Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and support improvement actions.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Production Planning, and Purchasing to ensure material availability for production.
  • Prepare material planning reports, inventory analysis, shortage reports, and KPI reports.
  • Analyze material requirements and inventory data to identify opportunities for inventory optimization.
  • Support continuous improvement projects related to material planning, inventory control, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate material planning and inventory data in the ERP system.
  • Ensure material planning activities comply with company procedures and customer requirements.
