HR Employee Relations
atMDPI Thailand Co., Ltd.About The RoleAs our Employee Relations Specialist, you are the trusted first point of contact when people questions arise.
You handle employee concerns and grievances, support fair and consistent disciplinary processes, keep us fully compliant with Thai labour law, and help build an engaged, positive culture as the team scales. You will work side by side with our C&B, Recruitment and Admin/Attendance colleagues and advise managers across the office.
Employee Relations
- Be the go-to contact for employee questions, concerns and grievances — listen, document, investigate fairly, and drive issues to a clear resolution.
- Conduct workplace investigations (misconduct, complaints, policy breaches) impartially and confidentially, and recommend fair, lawful outcomes.
- Coach and support managers on disciplinary action, warning letters, probation reviews, performance issues and offboarding, so every step follows due process.
- Keep MDPI compliant with the Labour Protection Act, Labour Relations Act, Social Security and related regulations; help maintain the employee handbook and work rules.
- Manage employee records for ER cases, track resolution times, and report trends (grievances, discipline, attrition) to HR leadership.
- Run engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives surveys, exit interviews, and follow-up actions and help nurture our international, supportive culture.
- Support HR policy communication and training on conduct, ethics and workplace standards.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration or a related field.
- 1–4 years' experience in HR with real exposure to employee relations, discipline or labour-law matters.
- Good knowledge of Thai labour law and employee relations practices.
- HR or labour law certification (e.g., PMAT, SHRM-CP, aPHRi/PHRi, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Experience handling investigations, mediation, grievances, or liaising with the Social Security Office, Labour Court, and other labour authorities is preferred.
- Good command of English and Thai, both spoken and written. / TOEIC 700+
- Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills; calm, discreet and trustworthy with sensitive situations.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable keeping accurate, confidential records.
