You will work on the execution of commercial interior renovations and full build-outs of McKinsey office locations across Asia and Greater China.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting required construction standards, budget and schedule requirements. You will use, develop and share best practice standards including technical, process and coordination documentation required in the delivery of best in class corporate interior fit outs. You will build, lead and actively manage teams of external vendors to meet all design, furniture and construction requirements of the projects. You will work with portfolio managers on specific negotiations, work letters and contract approaches, ensuring alignment. You will collaborate with location leaders, IT colleagues and other internal stakeholders on building and delivering on all project requirements.

You will lead our approach to finding, evaluating and engaging outsourced partners (e.g., architects, contractors, external project managers) through competitive (RFP) and contracting processes. You will provide vendors with McKinsey technical standards as well as review construction documents and provide guidance ensuring compliance during the design and build phases. You will provide guidance on budget setting and provide active management and reporting of budgets from inception through completion. You will lead and engage stakeholders in value engineering process to enable design objectives to be met against approved budgets.

You will also retain, analyze and report on all fit-out project spend in the region. You will work collectively with real estate project management colleagues to manage internal cost benchmarks, research regional and global external industry benchmarks, and explore opportunities to optimize processes, standards and services.
