You'll be working with our Operations practice in our Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok or Hanoi/HCMC office, supporting teams across South-East Asia. We assist our clients in solving complex challenges throughout the capital project life cycle. Blending Operations and Capex thinking with hands-on practicality, our teams of consultants and experts work to develop and implement project, portfolio, organization, and process best practices that solve our clients' most critical problems.

Capex Excellence is a rapidly growing service line with deep functional expertise focusing on issue of capital allocation and project value optimization incl.: business case, concept, and design optimization; procurement and contracting support; construction, commissioning, and ramp-up support and acceleration; organizational capability building as well as tools and processes selection and implementation, to deliver significant and sustainable impact for our clients.

You will be a thought leader and expert practitioner supporting teams to deliver small to mega capital projects/portfolios utilizing capital project management methodologies and best practice, with specific focus on construction support and on-site capability building.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise across industries and have significant impact across the project value chain. This could include applying your industry experience and expertise of large capital projects in portfolio optimization, project development and optimization, project delivery and capability building in capital intensive industries.

You will contribute to McKinsey's industry knowledge by staying up to date with the latest in the capital projects industry and you will contribute to proprietary models and analyses. This includes synthesize your findings into McKinsey formatted products. These products may be in the form of complex models and summary reports which evolve into standalone presentations that outline key findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
