Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is seeking a Cloud & Cognitive Software deal making sales leader responsible for creating and executing strategic IBM Software Agreements within IBM Key software accounts.

The Cloud & Cognitive Software deal maker will be passionate, enthusiastic and successful sales person who will drive complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams, developing account and deal strategies, co-creating solution(s) with clients, capturing and clearly articulating the value of the IBM strategic agreement. You will implement value-selling processes alongside a working knowledge of the Cloud & Cognitive portfolio and strategy. You will use your experience and consultative selling skills to initiate trusted partnerships and customer intimacy.
The ideal candidates will:
  • Have substantial experience with IBM Cloud & Cognitive software portfolio, offerings and their underlying License Agreements
  • Have extensive background selling to large enterprise clients.
  • Will articulate the value of a complex transaction to IBM pricing, finance, accounting, legal, and senior executives and secure appropriate approvals.
  • Have a clear understanding of IBM Hybrid Cloud and Data & AI strategy
  • Possess extensive Microsoft Excel skills and financial selling acumen
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Have extensive background in commercial negotiations with software products and offerings
  • Manage complex customer relationships
  • Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize on sales opportunities
  • Experience in selling and presenting to customer "C Suite" executive
