ROLE PURPOSE: Responsible for supporting fund managers through market analysis, portfolio performance management, and trade recommendations to enhance returns and maintain top-quartile performance. The role includes preparing daily and weekly market updates, monitoring cash flows and portfolio positions, managing foreign exchange hedging strategies, researching industry trends such as ESG integration, and providing administrative support for documentation, meetings, and account setup

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

OF THE ROLE:

• Update Global markets, outlook and trend on the macro level
• Support fund manager on the portfolio performance management such as recommend trade idea and improve all the FIF performance returns to be top two quartile ranking. Initiate new tools, instrument etc to enhance returns and reduce cost
• Write up daily market update, new news and analyze the outlook present to investment team and present/recommend funds to marketing team every Tuesday. Write up fund recommendation every week
• Monitor subscription and redemption and cash balance on a daily basis. Update and report the portfolio position on daily basis
• Perform foreign exchange management ie hedge ratio, optimal hedge ratio
• Study and present new trend in the industry: ESG integrated impact in the asset management industry
• Attend meeting in order to record minutes and prepare investment information for fund manager
• Provides administrative support for the completion of documentation of all paper work and all the trades.
• Provide support for open new fund account or open new counterparty
• Others assigned by team head and senior leaders QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Finance and Business or EngineeringHaving Fund manager license preferable
• Strong analytical, Bloomberg and Reuters skills
• Fluent in English prefer
• Personal skills: Good attitude, learning skills, and prudent
• Presentation skill is a plus TECHNICAL/ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
• Expertise in capital markets.
• Strong understanding of capital market, economic landscape, and regulatory development.
• Proficient in Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and analytics platforms.
• Understanding of local regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of portfolio risk analytics, performance attribution, and compliance systems. BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
