Key Objective

  • Business Development: Support the supervisor in developing SPL business to achieve the company's annual financial targets, such as NWP, LR, and COR.
  • Underwriting: Develop, review, and maintain underwriting standards, product rules, and operational processes for assigned personal lines insurance products.
  • Compliance: Ensure product launches comply with regulatory requirements and company compliance guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical underwriting support to internal& external stakeholders to ensure the product is aligned with the Underwriting guidlines Miscellaneous Products
  • Coordinate with Sales, Product, Claims, Operations, Actuarial, Risk, Compliance, and other relevant teams to resolve underwriting issues and support business initiatives.
  • Assist in monitoring portfolio performance, including premium growth, loss ratio, claims trends, retention, and profitability, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Assist in product launches, product revisions, and underwriting process improvement within the timeline
  • Handle referrals and escalations from junior underwriters or business partners, providing technical guidance and decision support.
  • Review policy documents and related underwriting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support training and coaching of underwriting team members and other internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, management reports, and business analysis as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of Underwriting experience in Miscellanous Proudcts ( or Personal lines-Non Motor insurance)
  • Experience in product development, OIC product filing, and product innovation
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams: Claims, Sales, Partnership, Digital Business
  • Strong knowledge of insurance underwriting processes and personal line insurance products.
  • Strong command of English and Thai, both written and spoken.
  • Professional, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High integrity, customer focus, and strong ownership mindset.
  • Ambition, adaptable, and open to change management.
  • Relevant insurance certifications are an advantage.
