Corporate Continuous Improvement Engineer📍 Work Location: Corporate Office (Supporting Glass, Label, and Plastic Closure Manufacturing Plants)

Job SummaryDrive and support continuous improvement initiatives across BGC manufacturing plants by acting as a consultant, coach, and strategic partner to enhance productivity, deliver measurable cost-saving results, and build operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant and coach for plant-level CI/Improvement Engineers by providing guidance, methodologies, and improvement tools to enhance implementation effectiveness.

• Develop and drive corporate Continuous Improvement frameworks and standards, including Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and BGC-X systems across all plants.

• Support and monitor productivity improvement, cost-saving, loss reduction, and operational excellence projects across manufacturing plants.

• Analyze plant performance data to identify opportunities for productivity enhancement, process optimization, and measurable cost savings.

• Lead cross-plant improvement initiatives and strategic projects that require corporate-level coordination.

• Conduct capability-building activities through training, workshops, and coaching programs for plant CI teams and manufacturing personnel.

• Facilitate best-practice sharing and drive standardization among plants to improve organizational effectiveness.

• Support the development and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and technical standards.

• Monitor and report KPIs, project progress, productivity improvement, and cost-saving impact to management.

• Collaborate closely with both corporate and plant teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of improvement initiatives.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Productivity Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or related areas.

• Proven experience delivering measurable productivity and cost-saving projects in manufacturing environments.

• Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering tools such as Time Study, OEE, Line Balancing, and Process Analysis.

• Strong analytical, project management, and systematic problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and manufacturing plants.

• Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants as required.
