Business Development Lead

atBetagro PCL

About Us:

We are building a next-generation Kitchen-As-A-Service (KaaS) business – a launchpad for culinary entrepreneurs. Our mission is to remove the operational friction for food brands and empower culinary creators to test, operate, and scale with ease. From fully equipped kitchen spaces to backend systems, we're rethinking food operations from the ground up, providing turnkey shared kitchen solutions for our partnering brands. We manage dedicated cook teams to fulfill orders coming from delivery apps, while providing the operational infrastructure, systems, and support that food brands need to grow. As we expand beyond our core KaaS offering, we are building new commercial products and revenue streams such as corporate catering, snack boxes, subscriptions, and other B2B food solutions. We're looking for a commercially minded, entrepreneurial builder to help us turn these opportunities into scalable businesses.

About the Role:

As our Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for building and growing the commercial engine of our business. This is a highly hands-on, 0-to-1 role. You will identify market opportunities, design new B2B products, develop the sales proposition, acquire customers, build and manage the CRM pipeline, and continuously improve the sales process and workflow. You will also serve as the commercial focal point for our partnering restaurant brands using our KaaS service — understanding their needs, coordinating with internal teams, and identifying opportunities to help them grow. You will work closely with the Founder and cross-functional teams to turn commercial opportunities into repeatable and scalable revenue streams. The role is approximately 70% focused on B2B business development and commercial growth, and 30% focused on partnering restaurant brands and their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development & Commercialization — 70% Product & Business Development
  • Identify and evaluate new B2B business opportunities and revenue streams, including corporate catering, snack boxes, subscriptions, and other food solutions.
  • Design, develop, and own commercial products from concept to launch, including value proposition, target customers, pricing, business model, and go-to-market approach.
  • Work closely with Operations, Kitchen, Procurement, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure new products are commercially viable and operationally executable.
  • Continuously analyze customer feedback, market trends, and business performance to improve existing products and identify new opportunities.
  • Own the commercial performance and growth of assigned products. B2B Sales & Business Growth
  • Build and execute B2B sales strategies to acquire new corporate and business customers.
  • Develop and manage the full sales funnel, from prospecting and lead generation through pitching, negotiation, closing, and account development.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and develop long-term customer accounts.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Own sales targets and take full accountability for revenue performance.
  • Develop partnerships and channels that can accelerate customer acquisition and business growth. CRM & Sales Pipeline Management
  • Establish and maintain a structured CRM system covering leads, prospects, opportunities, accounts, activities, and sales performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline data and ensure disciplined follow up.
  • Develop sales dashboards and reporting to track pipeline health, conversion, revenue, customer acquisition, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Analyze sales performance and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. Sales Process & Workflow Optimization
  • Design and continuously improve end-to-end sales workflows, from lead generation to quotation, order confirmation, fulfillment handover, and post-sales follow-up.
  • Build standardized sales processes, templates, tools, and SOPs that enable the business to scale.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive sales activities and improve team productivity.
  • Work with Operations and other functions to ensure a seamless handover from sales to fulfillment.
  • Partner Restaurant Brand Management & Growth — 30% Partner Management
  • Act as the primary commercial focal point for restaurant brands operating through our KaaS service.
  • Build strong relationships with restaurant owners and key contacts, understanding their business needs, challenges, and growth ambitions.
  • Coordinate with internal Operations, Marketing, and other teams to resolve partner requests and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Monitor partner satisfaction and identify recurring issues or opportunities for improvement. Partner Growth \
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and improve performance of partnering restaurant brands.
  • Work with partners to develop growth initiatives such as menu optimization, promotions, new channels, product launches, and other commercial opportunities.
  • Translate partner needs and feedback into actionable initiatives for the internal team.
  • Track partner performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue, order volume, retention, and overall partner success.
  • Help establish the foundation, processes, and tools for a scalable Partner Success function as the business grows.
