Job Purpose :

  • Manage and cooperate with new and existing customers to make offers, receive orders, manage shipments, collect payments, and manage satisfaction and complaints to reach the sales and profit target of each customer and market. Working across functions to achieve goals and meet customer expectation which requires communication skills and leadership behaviors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for export sales target both volumes and profit
  • Explore new & innovative sales channels, products and expand customer base
  • Cooperate with customers and teams to develop new products for supporting the market needs within a time frame.
  • Leveraging customer insights (market size/share) to identify business opportunities


Key Activities

  • Handle and enlarge the market share of existing customers to increase sales volumes via portfolio management
  • Find new customers to expand sales volumes and creating new opportunities.
  • Work with marketing, product development team, and production team to develop product and sales plan to meet customer requirement
  • Prepare price structure and update the price according to an actual situation then propose to Export Sales Manager for approval and making offers to the customerAnalyze/update market situation/customer's needs/market trends for developing a sales strategy to achieve deployed budget
  • Generate internal reporting of the current state of the market, new business activity, and thorough Mid-Long term forecasting


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Business Administration or Food Science and Technology or any related fields
  • Good communication in Japanese (N3) and English (TOEIC:550), even candidate can speak Japanese but no JLPT can apply as well


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales and export business
  • Have experience or knowledge in the food business is preferable
  • Have skill in Pricing & Finance is an advantage

  • Able to occasionally travel for business abroad
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
