Responsibilities:

Design and govern application architectures in collaboration with Solution Architects, development teams, and business stakeholders. Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable application solutions. Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations to validate architectural approaches, technologies, and AWS services. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and best practices. Review solution designs and implementations to ensure quality, security, performance, and operational readiness. Define and promote cloud-native architecture patterns leveraging AWS services and modern engineering practices. Drive DevOps adoption by implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to enable automated and reliable deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, Security, and Operations to ensure successful solution delivery. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural recommendations to address business and technology challenges. Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, application design, or application architecture. Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise applications and cloud-native solutions. Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture best practices. Experience conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), technology evaluations, and architectural assessments. Strong knowledge of application architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, and system integration. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage. Strong understanding of application security, scalability, performance optimization, and reliability principles. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer) are preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Good command of written and spoken English.
