Assistant Librarian - Secondary
atBangkok International Preparatory & Secondary School- Assist in the selection, acquirement, organisation and maintenance of resources for the Secondary Library
- Assist in managing the physical environment of the Secondary Library
- To effectively carry out book returns
- To participate in Secondary Library centred enrichment activities such as Book Week and visiting authors
- To assist in the disposal of old library and text books
- To supervise students who are permitted to be in the Secondary Library without a tutor or subject teacher
- To carry out other duties that may reasonably be required by the Deputy Librarian
- An understanding of information literacy and a developing understanding of lifelong learning principles
- A developing knowledge of how to promote and foster literacy and reading
- A developing knowledge and understanding of the library management system
- A developing knowledge and understanding of the principles of good library management
