Retail Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced merchandiser to develop a merchandising strategy for Pomelos offline stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and allocating the right product assortment to each store based on customer profile, store format, and company objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop a merchandising strategy for Pomelos offline stores that balance customers needs and sales target

Analyze sales figures both online and offline, local customers needs and insights, market trends to determine the accurate product mix for each and every stores

Monitor every stores inventory including slow-moving products, broken-size items, and best-selling items to ensure that the product gets the transfer out or replenish.

Set up inventory guideline and metrics for the offline stores such as inventory ratio between online and offline, inventory turnover rate, optimum inventory level for stores, and PQ ratio of product for each store format, to maximize companys revenue

Allocate new arrivals product following online launch, replenish best-selling items and back in stock items, and always maintain an optimum inventory level that aligns with the sales target

Work closely with cross-functional teams, for example, Retail Sales Director, Marketing, Visual Merchandise Director to determine the customer needs and ensure that products are highly attractive on the sales floors and customized to local needs and preferences

Study, analyze, and create product performance reports for all Pomelo stores

Always eager to improve the right product mix for all stores

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in merchandising in the fast-fashion apparel industry

Bachelors degree in merchandising or related field, Master's degree is preferred

Deep understanding of merchandising, details oriented and numbers driven

Strong analytical skills, data-driven, and good decision-making

Proficient in Excel (Advanced Pivot Table, V-Lookup, etc.) & SQL

Up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and best practices

Take ownership of your work

Excellent time management skill, and can work under pressure with tight deadlines

Fluent in Thai and English
