Job Summary
Job Description
- Configure and troubleshoot various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science related field, 3-5 years work experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate
- Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN support.
- Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
- Proven experience with network security and firewall management and troubleshooting
- (CCNA) certification required, (Cisco Certified Network professional (CCNP) preferred), Firewall Certificate Fortigate (FCNSE) or PaloAlto (PCNSA, PCNSE) preferred.
- Knowledged and experienced in IT service Managedment (ITSM) process
