Data Scientist (Big Data)
atAdvanced Info Service PCL. (AIS)- Work closely with corporate stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome.
- Drives the collection of new data and the refinement of existing/new data sources, including internal and external data sources.
- Works with corporate stakeholders to support data collection, integration.
- Develops experimental design approaches to validate finding or test hypotheses.
- Answer business questions by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data. This includes presenting and depicting rational or their findings in easy to understand terms for the business.
- Locate and drive new process improvement opportunities.
- At least 5 years in Business Intelligence/Data Analytic.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytic, forecasting/predictive analytic, experimental design and optimization algorithms.
- Technical expertise regarding data modeling, data mining, segmentation techniques, unstructured data skills, and other data science.
- Programming skills in big data frameworks and statistical modeling such as SAS, R, and Python, CE Techniques.
- Experience in data visualization tools.
- Knowledge/experience in machine learning.
- Domain knowledge of mobile, network and telecommunication technology and services would be advantageous.
