Main Purpose
The Bangkok IT Field Service position is responsible for supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure operations. Most of the tasks involve providing IT support to end users, ensuring that all essential IT infrastructure functions as expected. This role serves as the local IT contact, coordinating with the remote backend team and reporting to the Asia IT Field Service Lead, based in Bangkok, Thailand. Additionally, this position collaborates closely with the Service Desk teams in Malaysia and India to optimize support operations, efficiently distributing local workloads to enhance service responsiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Bangkok IT operations, ensuring high service quality while adhering to defined IT standard processes.
  • Perform meeting room health checks to ensure all systems function as expected; coordinate/escalate issues to the backend team as needed.
  • Strictly adhere to IT asset management policies and processes.
  • Assist the Asia IT Field Service Lead with special assignments as required.

IT Infrastructure and IT Service Management:
  • Collaborate with local and backend IT teams to manage and support IT infrastructure and security systems. Ensure IT tickets are logged promptly for management visibility and resource planning.
  • Monitor and ensure assigned tickets are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Properly close assigned tickets with accurate and complete information.
Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in related field
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure and operations support.
  • Solid knowledge of PC Support.
  • Ability to work independently with vendors.
  • Project management experience in IT infrastructure deployment.
  • Fluency in English and Thai are required
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
