Category & Brand Strategy Sr. Director
atPepsico Services Asia Co., Ltd. (Pepsi-Cola)- Lead Beverages category marketing team, develop brand portfolio strategy to support brand building & business growth in the region. Review and approve regional brand plans for global brands, ensuring alignment with strategy and brand guardrails, and monitor regional execution.
- Lead development and successful execution of brand strategies for regional brands. The role sits in APAC Marketing Beverage leadership teams.
- Develop and deliver category overall strategies and the business result that were committed to as part of AOP process
- Develop portfolio strategy and transformation agenda
- Liaison with Global Marketing Teams on strategic/communication plans and lead /execute regional brand development
- Oversee demand space led insights/innovation/brand building
- Architect Commercial Strategies and Plans, translates insights and analytics into strategies and plans to drive brand and portfolio growth at retail
- Contribute to NOBPT achievement through G&A, A&M, and mix management
- Build strategic brand for Asia BU innovation to enable future growth
- Drive functional capability building living with Marketing as a Function
- Deliver Corporate Sustainability goals, e.g. sugar reduction, label free packaging etc.
- Amplify Purposeful Branding with integrated CSR and Marketing agendas with visible impact measured in brand pulse check
- Collaborate with Bottler Field Organization to ensure Marketing plans are executed flawlessly
- Provide effective leadership and management. Motivate and inspire the team, build strong organization capability & develop talents and create a trusting and engaging environment
- Champion and embed Asia Beverage understanding, control, ownership and execution within Asia BU to achieve an effective audit rating
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and facilitate the decision-making of a diverse team of senior Region leaders and influence Global category decision-making via strong communication savvy and cross culture savvy
- Strong capability to build and execute strategies that deliver top and bottom line results; P&L decisions. Keeping revenues and cost in balance. Making tough financial decisions
- Ability build and execute brand plans and innovation pipeline through essential strong marketing and innovation skills
- Exhibit an enterprise mindset and ways of working eg excellent collaboration skills to effectively represent the needs of the Region while actively engaging with and contributing to the Global team
- Brand marketing and business building experience
- Innovation expertise, with detailed process knowledge across functions
- Digital savvy
