What you'll do:

Ensure the appropriate licensing and legal compliance of imported electrical household appliances. Combining knowledge of engineering, legal and business issues, you will enable products to meet the required legislation. Advise and supervise regarding the approval and registration of import license by Thailand Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), EGAT Electricity Generating Authority (EGAT) and other certification bodies. Coordinate with internal and external parties in product quality assurance.

In detail, you will:

• Proceed and control the approval processes of the imported appliances to get TISI license timely
• Ensure that company's products comply with the regulations of TISI standards
• Coordinate with EGAT to join the energy label No.5 program in order to be the marketing advantage
• Liaise closely with the regulatory authorities both internal and external on a regular basis in product quality and requirements
• Coordinate with BA Quality and the factories to ensure that the critical/main components of TISI products are still meet TISI requirements.
• Build effective and proactive relationships with Government officials

Qualifications

• University Degree
• At least 3 years of experience in TISI approval and QA/QC or factory audit
• Knowledge of TISI and IEC standards
• Experience in electrical household appliances business would be advantage
• Familiar with TISI, EGAT and other certification bodies
• Good negotiation skills
• Good communication both speaking and writing in English
• MS office skills
• Able to travel upcountry and abroad
• Own a car and hold a driving license

Where you'll be:

You will be based in the Bangkok Office and report to Quality Assurance Function Leader under Ownership Solutions Business Unit.
