Leading and optimizing the inventory and supply planning processes across the region to ensure cost-efficiency, mitigate supply chain risks, and achieve high customer service levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory & supply management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize replenishment cost for the region.
- Establish processes and capabilities to derive optimal safety stock levels to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure customer service levels for the region.
- Establish processes and capabilities to derive optimal replenishment plan to balance between minimizing stockout and excess inventory while improving stock availability to drive sales for the region.
- Monitor inventory health, identify slow-moving or obsolete items, proactively analyse and propose actions to drive improvement for the region.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory for the region.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify potential supply chain disruptions for the region.
- Direct responsibility to manage inventory optimization and supply planning for the regional hub.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, cash and service (such as inventory turns, inventory coverage, inventory aging, and supply forecast accuracy) for the region.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, procurement, suppliers, production, finance and local supply chain teams.
- Initiate and support any initiatives to improve inventory optimization and supply planning related matters for the region.
- Oversee the establishment and cadence of regional supply review meeting.
- Oversee the inventory optimization and supply planning process governance/improvement, provide training and guidance to the local country supply chain planning teams
Your Profile
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in inventory optimization and supply planning.
- Experience in demand planning and performance monitoring is a plus. Proven experience working with SCM systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, etc).
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and data-driven.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in spreadsheet and data analysis tools.
Language: Fluency in English is required.
