Manager, Category Management Indirect Material Kingfisher

KEY OBJECTIVES:
- Run sourcing process of purchase of categories and ensure the process is align with sourcing procedure and related policy.
- Do spend analysis and define potential saving of spend per categories. Drive and execute cost saving activities.
- Lead supplier negotiation in term of commercial term & technical term (if need) to ensure the Pandora's requirement is Instruct and Implement category's strategy align with direction of Procurement.
- Implementing supplier base per sub-categories and ensure the number of supplier is ready to use when the project comes.
- Minimize conflict of interest through challenging status quo, ensure engagement and alignment on strategy and tactical from key stakeholders including decision.
- Collaborate effectively with internal customer to define and manage risk of project and also ensure high adherences to standard of procurement.
- Support supplier assessment and collaborate effectively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure stringent standards.
- Develop strong relationships with supplier and partners and manage supplier relationship.
KEY DUTIES:
- Create master supplier / service provider contracts included all important clauses (e.g. delivery, payments, governance law, etc.) and customize contracts to accommodate specific requirements.
- Provide inputs regarding local practice and limitation; ensure contract comply to local regulations to Plant Head.
- Minimize potential audit issue, identify potential audit gaps, support information and drive result to close audit and raise exceptions as necessary.
- Ensure effective end-to-end category management activities of Indirect Materials, including:
- Perform market research/benchmarking on suppliers with input from Production team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Gather market intelligence on upcoming trends and changes
- Negotiate and create draft contract based on master contract template and consult with Legal in case of deviation from master template – Legal supports Procurement team.
- Coordinate with Legal in case of deviation from contracts to seek legal support and approval.
- Create and maintain supplier master data and participate in relevant governance forum as needed
- Manage indirect materials and other supplier performance and evaluation with input from users (e.g. Procure to Pay, Stakeholder/ Budget Owner and Production etc.) against agreed contract SLA and analyze data to strive for improvements.
- Provide input to Legal to amend master contract per changing regulations, ways of working, business risks
- Continuously improve supplier assessment criteria and guidelines while working in close collaboration with various teams in PPT including Risks, Quality Assurance, Finance.
- Monitor own performance and address gaps/improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Procurement Analytics to provide contract data, cost saving, prepare monthly / quarterly performance reports as requested, share and collaborate with SCM Excellence.
- Conduct risk, cost-scenarios, pricing analysis and Market Intelligent update & trends for each product category, share and collaborate with SCM Excellenc.
- Implement cost-improvement measures based-on analysis, share and collaborate with SCM Excellence.
- Be a procurement in charge of project Kingfisher under the scope of work
- Coordinate to PMO by providing advice of procurement process of Construction and Machinery sub-categories.
- Support project consultant for bidding process in order to ensure the process compliance with Procurement procedure and internal control.
- Coordinate to related Category Manager according to bidding of each categories.
- Coordinate overall sourcing program as representative from Indirect category to support Kingfisher project
Responsibilities;
- Bachelor degree or above in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field,
- At least 5 years or more experiences in Category Management, Strategic sourcing, Cost validation in Indirect Material category on Facility or Construction Project. Be able to drive the bidding project and collaborate with stakeholder to achieve project KPI with high governance structure,
- Drive the solution to most complex business problems,
- Possess the strategic perspective and create sustained results for Pandora (financial, non-financial),
- Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work,
- Is self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard; willing to change,
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; interact effectively within the organization,
- Strong Interpersonal skills in working clsoely with users and Kingfisher project team,
- Project management to ensure overall sourcing activities within timeline and budget to support project launch,
- Good English communication and self-confident.
