Director, Supplier Quality
atPandora Production Co., Ltd.Responsibilities;
Key objectives
- Lead the development and implementation of the Pandora Supplier Quality Management strategy.
- Lead the development, communication, and management of the Supplier Quality policies, processes, and KPI's to ensure delivery of purchased materials that adhere with all Pandora Quality requirements.
- Partner with Procurement, Contract Manufacturing, Advanced Quality, and Internal Manufacturing to identify and escalate supplier quality issues impacting the supply chain and manage to resolution.
Key duties
- Translate company goals into tangible actions/ metrics for Supplier Quality, including improvement of low performing supplier metrics.
- Oversee creation and implementation of quality inspection standards with suppliers according to PANDORA quality requirements for all outsourced materials (spare parts), raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to maintain necessary standardization in supplier quality processes.
- Oversee supplier audits to ensure supplier meet PANDORA requirement and regulatory standards.
- Develop effective NCR process and ensure NCRs are resolved in timely manner.
- Leverage the quality performance data to support supplier evaluation and selection.
- Support supplier audit and qualification process; ensure suppliers meet PANDORA requirement, quality and regulatory standards.
- Drive the continuous improvement of supplier quality performance based on supplier metrics.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering/science or related field,
- Minimum 10 years's experience in Manufacturing or Supplier Quality, 5 years leading a department,
- Most preferred experience from Jewelry manufacturing
- Experience and skill to High volume, mass manufacturing experience preferred
- Proven track record of leading change in an organization
- Drive the solution to most complex business problems
- Possess the strategic perspective and create sustained results for Pandora (financial, non-financial)
- Demonstrate ability to make hard decisions, making the right trade-offs
- Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity
- Is an inspirational leader; practices genuine humility and places the team above their own interests
- Is self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard; willing to change
- Is smart about other people; has an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and run own team of future leaders
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; interact effectively with the organization
- Quality core tools (AQL, Gage R&R, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)
- Good command to MS office, Minitab
- Good command in English
