Report to the Tool Shop Manager, the Machining Supervisor main goals are to ensure tooling fabrication and maintenance performance to support plant's New Product Introduction and production volume delivery objectives through the good performance of the CAM/CNC/EDM/CMM/Material preparation Team; monitor team KPIs and take action when they don't meet standard; train and prepare team; manage teams hand tools conditions and good use, requesting new ones when necessary; manage material preparation, raw material inventory and semi-finished replenishment.
You will be working closely with several departments including Maintenance, Sourcing, machine installation, tool & material acquisition and many other initiatives.

- Lead CAM/CNC/EDM/CMM/Material preparation Team
- Be responsible training and support evaluation of work force
- Manage CAM/CNC/EDM/CMM/Material preparation area KPIs such as efficiency, quality rate, and new tooling output
- Manage CAM/CNC/EDM/CMM/Material preparation technicians hand tools conditions and replenishment
- Manage raw material consumption and replenishment
- Manage material preparation area, semi-finished inventory and replenishment
- Perform new tooling and Repair of cavities when necessary, including cavity remaking when applicable
- Comply with the local and group policies
- Comply with the ISO certifications and other group systems
- Contribute to the external/internal audits
Supervision and Leadership:
- Team Management: Oversee a team of toolmakers, machinists, and other staff, ensuring they work efficiently and meet production targets.
- Training and Development: Provide training and mentorship to team members to improve their skills and knowledge in mold-making techniques and safety practices.
- Scheduling: Plan and allocate work to the team, managing workloads to meet production deadlines.
Technical Oversight:
- Quality Control: Ensure that all molds produced meet the required specifications, quality standards, and tolerances.
- Process Optimization: Continuously look for ways to improve manufacturing processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance the quality of mold.
- Problem-Solving: Address technical issues that arise during the mold-making process, providing guidance and support to the team to resolve problems quickly.
Must have
- Professional formation as industrial mechanics and/or tooling technician
- Good Interpersonal Skills with the right communication level including a good spoken English (intermediate level)
- Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in Tool Shops operating machines and performing CAM/CNC/EDM/CMM/Material preparation, with a demonstrating process technical expertise and analytical skills
- Leadership experience
- Strong experience operating, supporting or leading processes such as lathe turning, grinding, drilling or any tool making / machining operation
- Strong experience with metal forging tool and/or injection molds of products with high aesthetical & cosmetics appeal
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies will be considered a plus
