Enterprise Application Developer
atMajor Cineplex Group Plc.- Develop program with good quality using a variety of tools and languages, segment integration, installation, and testing in appropriate laboratory settings
- Follow application development best practices including Application Lifecycle Management and secure coding
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify technical requirements, architecture, programming, and code design specifications
- Participate in code reviews and all SCRUM activities
- Participate in test plan development and support procedures to test the functionality of operational and/or support software
- Deploy developed applications and maintain development, QA, and production environments
- Produce or revise existing documentation in support of new and modified software
- Support a configuration management system which provides tracking of all new, and changed, operational or support software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a related field required. Masters desired
- Experience in software design, development, and test & evaluations
- Experience with Database development, Web page design, Computer Based Training development, and using .NET tools and .net Integrated Development Environment tools, asp.net, SQL Server, and HTML editor tools
- Strong in one or more of the following: Java; Groovy; JavaScript (+ jQuery, d3, backbone, marionette); HTML (+ css, less);
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular, Node.js, (C#, VB.NET) or related and Microsoft
- Desired experience with Spring; Maven; Twitter Storm; Accumulo; IntelliJ IDE; GIT; Atlassian Tools (Confluence; Stash; JIRA; Bamboo; SourceTree)
- Experience with software development best practices; e.g., SCRUM / Agile required
- Architect Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) build processes for code deployments via tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo
- Experience working on a development team performing data ingestion, analysis and visualization on large data sets desired
- Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
