Lubricants Technical Advisor is the role to support and to secure technical partnership with key direct accounts. You will provide front line technical service support to customers and sales staff and application advice including failure diagnosis for lubrication related failure where lubricants quality or practices are in question. You will need to deliver total solution to customers.
What's the role
As Lubricants Technical Advisor, you are going to deliver business outcome with more specific accountabilities as following:
- Focus on key accounts with Technology collaboration aligned.
- Capable to advise customers including troubleshooting and identify opportunities for upsell/x-sell on lubes and develop new service CVPs.
- Support Account Manager / Indirect Channel Account Manager and Service Account Manager to deliver lubes and services as revenue stream
- Focus operation excellence including cost optimization and minimization.
- Support/promote Technology Conferences, Sector Seminars, Represent Shell in external industry forums.
- To be regional expert in agriculture and heavy equipment sectors and always demonstrate safe behaviours when performing the job
What we need from you
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field of Machinery Engineering and minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience of technical and commercial skill combining digital technologies.
- High People management skill and capable to manage complexity of stakeholders
- Customer centric with service mind.
- Fluent in both Thai and English Communication skills including writing, speaking, and reading.
