We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Planning Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient production plans that support the organisation's manufacturing goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate detailed production schedules by analysing order requirements, available capacity, and material availability to ensure smooth and timely production processes. Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and inventory departments to synchronise activities and optimise resource utilisation. Monitor production progress against the plan, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of production plans, updates, and any deviations, reporting key metrics to management regularly. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting refinements in production planning processes and tools. Assist in forecasting production needs based on sales trends, market demand, and historical data to support strategic planning. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations throughout the planning stages.
