Marketing Manager - SEA & Category Management

Role Purpose


The Marketing Manager – SEA & Category Management is responsible for driving integrated marketing strategies and initiatives to elevate brand awareness, enhance customer experience, and deliver revenue growth across the SEA region, whilst also driving our product and supplier marketing initiatives across the wider APAC region in conjunction with our product category business units. This role blends strategic marketing planning, product marketing expertise, digital campaign execution, brand management, customer insight, and sales enablement to support the omni-channel strategy and contribute to overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Marketing Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company objectives and target market segments.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and challenges.
  • Integrate customer insights and data-driven analysis to inform strategic decisions and improve marketing effectiveness.


Product Marketing

  • Lead product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with product management and sales teams to craft compelling product narratives and value propositions.
  • Support the commercialization of new products and drive market adoption.
  • Collaborate with our Strategic Suppliers across the region to formulate and execute co-op funded marketing programs across the region, provide feedback to categories and suppliers, and manage marketing funding.


Brand Management

  • Develop and implement brand advertising activities and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Own the social content strategy and calendar, leading implementation and performance tracking.
  • Manage brand differentiation through white papers, exhibitions, roadshows, collateral, and website content.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain a reliable, up-to-date web presence.


Digital Marketing Campaigns

  • Design and implement digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, PPC, and other channels to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Leverage analytics and data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and ROI.


Customer Experience & Insight

  • Define and refine customer interactions throughout the customer journey, from attraction to retention and advocacy.
  • Cultivate a customer-centric culture by leveraging data-led insights and visualization tools.
  • Provide data analysis to inform marketing campaigns and identify optimization opportunities.


Sales Enablement

  • Develop sales tools and collateral such as presentations, product sheets, and competitive analysis.
  • Conduct training sessions to equip sales teams with knowledge and resources to effectively sell products.


Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Establish and track marketing KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting results and recommending strategic adjustments.


Marketing Campaigns & Governance

  • Manage SEA & APAC Category marketing governance, planning rhythm, and delivery quality.
  • Implement value proposition concepts and private label positioning.
  • Develop and oversee marketing budgets, forecasts, and operational plans to ensure on-time and within-budget execution.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies to produce high-quality work aligned with marketing objectives.


Requirements:

  • 6+ years of demonstrated marketing experience in a commercial (preferably B2B) environment.
  • Strong knowledge of key marketing principles, eCommerce, media design, and campaign management.
  • Proven experience in product marketing, brand management, and digital campaign execution.
  • Ability to develop integrated marketing strategies and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage insights and data visualization tools.
  • Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity to operate across diverse markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
