Athlete Services Manager

atPattana Sport Club Co., Ltd.

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the backend athlete registration service for all C55 sports events. Follow up timelines and action plans to make sure that athlete registrations are executed as planned. Coordinate with team members and 3rd part service providers. Be the first point-of-contact for athletes (Thai as well as foreign) for inquiries and complaints before, during and after events. Manage race day registration and race pack collection.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Pre-race management

  • Keep track of registrations after the pre-race registration is launched.
  • Monitor registration statistics of all events.
  • Update and maintain athlete's database.
  • Handle all athlete enquiries via phone, email, social media and website.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with athletes through open and interactive communication.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information.
  • Handle athlete complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep records of athlete interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
  • Take the extra mile to exceed the athlete's expectations.
  • Last minute communication with athletes and spectators during an event period (mail, hotline, social media Etc.).
  • Coordinate registration activities with internal and outsourced teams.
  • Race-pack collection planning, race day registration set-up and its flow.

Race-weekend management

  • Lead the registration and race pack collection area on and before race day.
  • Prepare athlete waivers and make sure waivers are duly signed.
  • Planning and management of the personal belongings of athletes.
  • Finish-line area management (Finish line conduct such as material setting, medal handling, etc.).

Post-race management

  • Provide post-event reports with all required data/statistics.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Problem solver; ability to stay calm during stressful events
  • Fluent in Thai; solid command of English
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Undergraduate degree
