Sales Engineer / Sales Representative

  • Under general direction, responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls equipment/product with a focus on sales opportunities with focus on new business growth.
  • Focuses on assigned area(s) of the business.
  • Prepares and issues tenders and proposal(s) to customer(s) with accurate cost estimation.
  • Develops new sales by identifying potential customers & assigned partner(s).
  • Builds and maintains long-term customer relationships with partners and ensures loyalty & performance by providing valuable sales support to customer; e.g. application consultation, specifications, design, pricing as well as after-sales support.
  • Partners with other sales team members, as well as contractors, owners, or customers from assigned accounts.
  • Seeks out, qualifies and closes new sales opportunities, with a specific focus on new business growth.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies & process relating to channel management
  • Refers leads to other business segments.
  • Utilizes applicable sales tools to plan and document progress.
  • Developing & applying knowledge of products & services to drive JCI to be the preferred supplier.
  • Focuses on large, more complex opportunities and will also have a significant sales target.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.
  • 1 - 3 years experience in Sales & Marketing in air conditioning product/market or HVAC & R industry or any related experience.
  • Good interpersonal skill and good connection with people for both internal and external.
  • Good communication & negotiation skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Own transport.
