Summary Job Purpose:

To identify business opportunities and manage the pipeline of opportunities in order to increase gross add, revenue from refill & proserm selling via bank and wholesales channels. To manage long term relationship with bank & wholesales channel as well as manage internal team to conduct projects to serve assigned accounts.

Principal Accountabilities:

Project Management (Main responsibility)

  • Lead the project management of initiatives on business deal by working with the internal team (product managers, segment managers and other managers within sales group, marketing group, finance group and technology group) to increase business opportunities with banks / wholesales
  • Conduct required discussions and workshops with key stakeholders at AVP – SVP level to discuss initiative to increase the business with banks / wholesales
  • Conduct the presentation to management to obtain required agreement or approval of the initiatives

Campaign communication & performance analysis (Main responsibility)

  • Prepare briefing for Trade marketing / marketing communication for required media/campaign
  • Prepare assigned weekly/monthly performance report or ad hoc report to help the team understand partner & market situation
  • Conduct market survey to understand channel situation or consumer behavior in order to improve revenue of responsible situation

Business Development (Sub responsibility)

  • Lead the identification of business opportunities and manage the pipeline of opportunities
  • Identify the opportunities for campaigns that will increase the volume of sales and services
  • Present to department head and division head level on the business trends with a view to developing new services, products to be provided in the bank channels as our distribution channels
  • Lead the expansion of potential bank partners / wholesales to grow business
  • Plan the approaches and pitches and lead the negotiation and deal closures with bank partners / wholesales
  • Bring in key (dtac) stakeholders at AVP – SVP level to discuss opportunities with banks / wholesales and manage dtac stake holders to develop solutions (and proposals) to support the business expansion with banks / wholesales

Relationship Management (Sub responsibility)

  • Lead the relationship building and management with banks / wholesales focusing on business side
  • Identify the decision makers within the bank organization and build network within banks / wholesales
  • Research, attend related functions such as association events and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions with bank / wholesales channels
  • Undergraduate degree in related discipline required; Graduate degree (MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in relevant business area of sales and marketing
  • Experience in digital, wireless and banking sectors; management consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience in business development activities, project planning and management with ability to break-down complex opportunities into manageable initiatives
  • Understanding of current and emerging trends in leveraging bank/ wholesales channels to serve telecom customers
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking competencies to analyze business environment and define opportunities, solutions or approaches by using observation, data, external benchmarking, competitive intelligence and fact-based insight with intuition and foresight
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated skill in influence, conflict resolution, and negotiation
  • Good verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Good PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
