[BBGI] Planner/Analyst (Under BBGI Bioethanol PCL.)
atBangchak Corporation PCLKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor production schedules for the ethanol plant, ensuring alignment with sales demand, raw material availability, inventory levels, plant capacity, and operational constraints. Analyze and report when unplanned downtime/shutdown occurs
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Raw Material, Warehouse, QA/QC, Engineering, QSHE and Finance teams to ensure smooth production planning, safe operation and timely execution.
- Analyze demand requirements, production plans, supply availability, and operational bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions to support production continuity.
- Assess manufacturing processes, workflows, and planning systems to identify improvement opportunities related to yield, efficiency, downtime, cost, and resource utilization.
- Analyze production performance, operating costs, variances, and key performance indicators to evaluate manufacturing efficiency and impact on the profit and loss (P&L) statement.
- Optimize resource allocation through effective production planning, including raw materials, utilities, manpower, storage capacity, and related plant resources.
- Support project managers and cross-functional teams in monitoring project progress, timeline, budget, risks, and deliverables to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Support the Sales and Raw Material teams in reviewing KPI achievement forecasts, identifying potential gaps, and recommending corrective actions or improvement plans.
- Apply digital tools, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve production planning accuracy, performance monitoring, reporting efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare planning reports, performance analysis, management dashboards, and presentation materials to support plant management decision-making.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, plant performance analysis, project engineering, process improvement, or a related role.
- Experience in the chemical, food, bioethanol, biofuel, or related process industry is required; experience in ethanol plant operations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, process efficiency analysis, cost analysis, and KPI monitoring.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, ERP, MRP, or planning systems is an advantage.
- Digital, Data, and AI literacy, including the ability to use digital platforms, interpret operational data, apply basic data visualization, and leverage AI tools responsibly to support analysis, planning, and continuous improvement.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good command of English for speaking, writing, and workplace communication.
