Role Title: AOI CFO
Reports to: Group CEO/Board
Working arrangement: Primary : SBS Rangsit
Purpose of the role:
As the Group CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our education group, including the opening of new schools. You will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to ensure financial objectives are met, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The position will be based in Bangkok but will require travel as and when required to other schools in the group.
Direct Reports: Group FD and Financial Directors/Managers in each school
The specific duties of this position are listed below:
Lead the financial operations of the education group, including budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure, financial reporting, audit and financial systems.
Develop and execute group financial strategy aligned with expansion plans
Provide financial analysis, insight and support to the CEO/EXCO and other senior leaders to aid decision-making.
Business Performance Management - Monitor KPIS such as enrollment, retention, revenue per student
Drive cost optimization and margin improvement
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management and other stakeholders, including the Board of Governors and any investors.
Prepare and present financial related data at monthly EXCO meetings
Manage the group's cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Manage the group's banking relationships and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and lenders.
Negotiate and approve contracts with various vendors
Approval of payroll and high value bank transfers & Purchase Orders
Supporting the process of bank loans for any new campus investments and restructuring of current loans if required.
Manage the financial due diligence process for the opening of new schools, including negotiating financing terms
Develop financial projections and business plans for new schools, ensuring they are financially sustainable and aligned with the group's overall strategy.
Work closely with Head of Schools and CEO in general planning for new schools
Work closely with the Head of Schools to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure the long-term sustainability of the group.
Provide leadership and direction to the finance teams in all three schools, ensuring they are motivated, engaged, and committed to delivering high-quality financial services.
Assist with the recruitment and selection of senior finance positions in all the schools
Identify and implement opportunities for financial efficiency and improvement across our schools.
Manage the institution's financial risk, including identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Provide financial guidance and advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
Where possible implement financial systems and procedures that can be adopted by all schools in the Group
Identify and implement a standardised financial reporting framework or dashboard for easy visibility of group financial performance
Actively lead and assist negotiations for group or bulk discounts from suppliers by leveraging the collective buying power of all the schools
IPO Related
Lead and direct the IPO process from end to end - including identifying current gaps to be addressed to comply with requirements for initial filing and subsequent post IPO compliance
Act as IPO program director to ensure readiness assessment, due diligence, filing and regulatory review, roadshow and pricing
Act as primary liaison with regulators, financial advisor and auditors
Ensure compliance with full TFRS and SEC disclosure rules & regulations
Build IPO-quality financial statements and disclosures
Ensure robust quarterly closing discipline, strong Balance Sheet and liquidity
Optimize capital structure and shareholding structure
Develop equity story for growth strategy, financial narrative and use of proceeds
Act as key spokesperson on financial matters during analyst briefings, investor roadshows and due diligence sessions. This will involve Investor Relations post IPO
Complete any required mandatory training related to SET/SEC
What We Offer:
About you: Fluent written and spoken English and Thai
Compensation: Monthly salary depending on qualifications and experience
Performance bonus: 1-2 months Salary, dependent on performance
