About the Role

Carrier is seeking a

Plan & Spec Engineer – Data Center Solutions

to support the growth of our Life Cycle Solutions business. This role combines technical expertise and customer engagement to develop customized cooling solutions for mission-critical Data Center environments. You will work closely with customers, consultants, application engineers, and sales teams to position Carrier's industry-leading technologies and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers, consultants, and project stakeholders to understand technical and business requirements for Data Center projects

Support the development of customized cooling solutions, including chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, liquid cooling systems, and controls

Collaborate with Application Engineering teams to evaluate system designs and recommend optimal solutions

Deliver technical presentations, solution proposals, and product demonstrations to customers

Lead discussions on energy efficiency, lifecycle costs, ROI, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Review project specifications and identify opportunities to position Carrier solutions in the early design phase

Support commercial negotiations, proposal development, and contract discussions

Work closely with sales and service teams to support project execution and long-term customer relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field

2–5 years of experience in HVAC applications, pre-sales engineering, plan & spec, solution engineering, or technical sales

Knowledge of chiller systems, Data Center cooling, CRAC/CRAH, controls, or mission-critical infrastructure

Strong understanding of HVAC system design and energy-efficient solutions

Comfortable presenting technical solutions to customers, consultants, and decision-makers

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness

Good command of English and Thai
