About the Role

Carrier is seeking a

Design Engineer

(Electrical & Electronic Components)

to support the qualification, evaluation, and validation of electrical and electronic components used in air conditioning products. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, performance, reliability, and compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and qualify electrical and electronic components for new and existing products

Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements

Support new product development and engineering change activities

Investigate component-related issues and provide technical recommendations

Collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, and manufacturing teams to support product qualification and implementation

Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and engineering records

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field

Experience in electrical/electronic component testing, validation, product development, or quality engineering is preferred

Knowledge of electrical and electronic components, circuits, and engineering test methods

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and collaboration skills

Good command of English
