Global Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative

Global Procurement Specialist

to support procurement activities across the

end-to-end supply chain

. In this role, you will work closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and other global stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing, optimize supplier performance, ensure supply continuity, and deliver cost-effective procurement solutions that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective, sustainable, and reliable procurement of goods and services.

Lead sourcing activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and contract award.

Support the preparation, negotiation, implementation, and administration of procurement contracts and supplier agreements.

Collaborate with Legal and business stakeholders to manage contract renewals, amendments, and compliance with contractual terms.

Partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams to support end-to-end supply chain operations.

Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance, market trends, and purchasing data to support strategic decision-making.

Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Conduct market intelligence and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and mitigate supply risks.

Prepare procurement reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management.

Lead or support procurement transformation, digitalization, and process improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, corporate governance, and company standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing analysis, or related areas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and cost analysis.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.
