Overview:

PTT Digital Solutions is seeking a qualified Business Analyst with experience in IT solution provider companies. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes, from gathering customer requirements to providing support. We are looking for a proactive individual who is adaptable and eager to learn new technologies relevant to each project.

Job Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering:

Collaborate with key users and business owners to gather and document requirements. Assist in business conceptualization and rationalization through fit and gap analysis, summarizing requirements effectively.

Functional Specification Design:

Design and confirm functional specifications, including application flow, business logic, screen interfaces, reports, and data files.

Product Definition Participation:

Participate in software product definition by analyzing, prioritizing, and confirming end-to-end processes.

Impact Analysis & Implementation Planning:

Perform impact analysis, consolidate implementation efforts, and develop implementation plans based on inputs from various teams (Solution Architects, Developers, QA, Database, and Infrastructure). Brief relevant teams on the project scope of work.

Requirements Control & Review:

Oversee requirements management, review technical requirements, and lead the preparation of training materials.

UAT & Training Execution:

Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with key users and lead the training phase for end users.

Post Go-live Support:

Provide support after go-live by analyzing incidents or issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating with technical teams to resolve problems.

Supervision & Coaching:

Supervise and mentor subordinate team members, guiding them through project processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Computer, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields (minimum GPA: 2.5 for IT-related fields, and 3.0 for others).

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, with 5+ years for Senior Business Analyst positions.

Preferable background in IT technologies such as C#, .Net, Java, NodeJS, and React.

Business Process Knowledge:

Strong understanding of organizational business processes, with experience in the Oil & Gas industry being an advantage.

Required Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying issues and proposing effective solutions.

Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and functional specification design.

Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training end users.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required Knowledge:

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques, including fit and gap analysis.

Knowledge of technical specifications and the ability to review and understand technical requirements.

Additional Knowledge:

Experience with data analytics tools and techniques is a plus.

Understanding of cloud computing and modern IT infrastructure is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
